Cozy Cardigans

Now that it is finally October and the cold weather is here, it is time to put away the shorts and flip-flops and bring out jeans and my personal favourite - cardigans. I am a big fan of  the cardigans from American Eagle this fall. My favourite right now is the AE Pointelle Cardigan, although, I have yet to purchase this item. What I like about AE cardigans is that they are affordable and last quite some time. This sweater would be perfect to wear with leggings or jeggings and a flowy tank top.

I know that this dress is not exactly fall wear but it was such a sunny and warm day that I couldn't help but bring out this beautiful cream dress. In the colder weather you can pair it with a cute blazer and different shoes but for now I am wearing it as is. :)

How to: Dewy Face

It is now summer and the fresh, dewy face is all the rage. Unfortunately, we are not all blessed with perfect radiant skin. So, here is my quick How To, to get the glowly look that is perfect for daytime.

1. Apply a tinted moisturizer to face and neck. Make sure to blend well.

2. Conceal any imperfections like dark circles to make you look more awake.

3. Lightly sweep bronzer on face. (I like to concentrate the colour on my cheek bones)

4. Apply a cream blush to the apples of your cheeks. You can use your fingers but, I prefer an angled blush brush.

4. Apply a highlighter (preferably not powder) to cheekbones, browbones, inner corners of eyes, bridge of the nose and to your cupid's bow and blend.

 

6. Finally, curl your lashes, sweep on your favourite mascara and chapstick and vola, your END RESULT

On this rainy day I decided that I would like to share some future advntures with you guys. That is of course once I have some! I do not know what this blog really is going to be about yet but once I figure that out I will let all of you know. :)
